<summary>Safe Zones</summary>

#### Safe Zones

There are many [safe zones](#user-content-fn-1)[^1] inside the server, so we made a list here.

1. River City Police Department Station
2. Liberty Department of Public Safety Station
3. [Liberty County Fire Department Station](#user-content-fn-2)[^2]
4. [Civilian Spawn](#user-content-fn-3)[^3]

Temporary safe zones may be declared by staff[^4] on a per-session basis to account for unique roleplays.

<summary>Respect, Encouragement, Arguments, and Language Rules</summary>

#### Respect

At Liberty County Roleplay, respect is our #1 rule. We expect that you follow the [golden rule](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Rule) and treat others with respect at all times, whether that is in roleplay or outside of it.

#### Encouragement

You are not allowed to encourage or dare others to break our rules. If you do this, both parties will be punished.

#### Arguments

We strongly advise that you do not start arguments with other members. If you start an argument, you will be warned by a staff member. In some cases, this can fall under [Respect](https://app.gitbook.com/o/XZOxpf5dUIMq4yylauZ5/s/9f7WX2HaNVHPABCuI6Ni/~/edit/~/changes/2/rules-and-information/in-game-rules-master-list#respect).

#### Language Rules

Due to moderation limitations, we require all of our members to speak in the English language.

</details>

<details>

<summary>Exploiting, Alting, and Impersonation</summary>

#### Exploiting

Exploiting[^5] is strictly prohibited. Violations of this rule are also directly reported to [Police Roleplay Community](https://erlc.gg/).

#### Alting

Alting[^6] is not allowed, and if an account is a suspected alt, it will be moderated. If you believe you were falsely moderated as an alternate account, please see the appeals section of the website.

#### Impersonation

Impersonation[^7] of members, staff, and PRC[^8] Officials is strictly prohibited and will result in a ban.

</details>

<details>

<summary>No Intention of Roleplay and Trolling</summary>

#### No Intention of Roleplay

[No intention of roleplay](#user-content-fn-9)[^9] is not allowed and will result in severe punishment if you are seen in violation of this.

#### Trolling

Trolling[^10] is strictly forbidden and will result in immediate removal from the game server.&#x20;

</details>

<details>

<summary>New Life Rule, Random Death Match, Vehicle Death Match, and Fail Roleplay</summary>

#### New Life Rule

In the server, we strictly enforce the [New Life Rule](#user-content-fn-11)[^11]. Outside of this rule, the only other way to "change characters" is to change your avatar, vehicle, or any other identifying feature and inform others that you have changed characters. You may not change characters if you have an active warrant or search by the police for you.

#### Random Death Match

For roleplay purposes, we have a [Random Death Match](#user-content-fn-12)[^12] rule. Additionally, Random Death Match in a safe zone is not allowed, and killing staff while they are in uniform is considered Staff RDM.

#### Vehicle Death Match

This rule is very similar to Random Death Match. [Vehicle Death Match](#user-content-fn-13)[^13] will result in a warning, but can be escalated into a kick if needed.

#### Fail Roleplay

[Fail Roleplay](#user-content-fn-14)[^14] is forbidden to ensure that the roleplay experience is enjoyable for everyone.

<details>

<summary>Common Sense, Loopholes, and Community Guidelines</summary>

#### Common Sense & Loopholes

At Liberty County Roleplay, we require you to use common sense. Do not try to find loopholes to get around our rules. If you are found abusing loopholes, you will be severely punished. Keep in mind that staff members have the final say, and punishment appeals can only be reviewed by Management+.

#### [Community Guidelines](#user-content-fn-15)[^15]

Violation of Roblox's [Community Standards](https://about.roblox.com/community-standards) or [Terms of Use](https://en.help.roblox.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004647846-Roblox-Terms-of-Use) will result in an immediate ban. Additionally, violation of [Police Roleplay Community](https://erlc.gg/)'s Community Guidelines will also result in a ban.

[^1]: The abbreviation of safe zone is SZ. Safe zones are places in the in-game server where you are not allowed to kill or roleplay. Some safe zones extend beyond their actual buildings; for example, the police station and its parking lots, lawn, and more are considered a single safe zone.

[^2]: Station 1 & Station 2

[^3]: River City Civilian Spawn & Springfield Civilian Spawn

[^4]: The Directive Team is the only staff that has the authority to declare a temporary safe zone.

[^5]: Exploiting is the action of abusing game vulnerabilities to the advantage of you or those around you. This can include using "scripts" to change properties of the game, or preforming game glitches.

[^6]: Alting is the action of using "alts" or alternate accounts to boost the server count, avoid moderation, confuse staff, etc.

[^7]: Impersonation is the act of pretending to be another person, either to deceive others or to mimic their characteristics (such as behavior, voice, or appearance) for entertainment or malicious intent.

[^8]: PRC is the abbreviated form of [Police Roleplay Community](https://erlc.gg/).

[^9]: This is abbriviated as NITRP. This is the action of joining the server without the intention to actually roleplay.

[^10]: "Trolling is when a person posts deliberately offensive or provocative messages online[\[1\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolling#cite_note-1) (such as in [social media](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_media), a [forum](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Internet_forum), a [chat room](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chat_room), an [online video game](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multiplayer_video_game)) or performs similar behaviors in real life. The methods and motivations of trolls can range from benign to sadistic." -[Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trolling#:~:text=trolling%20is%20when%20a%20person%20posts%20deliberately%20offensive%20or%20provocative%20messages%20online%5B1%5D%20\(such%20as%20in%20social%20media%2C%20a%20forum%2C%20a%20chat%20room%2C%20an%20online%20video%20game\)%20or%20performs%20similar%20behaviors%20in%20real%20life.%20The%20methods%20and%20motivations%20of%20trolls%20can%20range%20from%20benign%20to%20sadistic.)

[^11]: This rule requires that after death, you are not allowed to return to the scene of your death or remember anything. You must roleplay without the memories you had before your death.

[^12]: The abbreviation of Random Death Match is RDM. This is defined as shooting or killing another member without valid roleplay reason.

[^13]: The abbreviated form of this is VDM. This is the action of damaging vehicles ("roleplay" damage is included, like crashing into another vehicle) or using vehicles to damage others without valid reason.

[^14]: The abbreviated form of this is FRP. Fail Roleplay is the act of breaking the rules, logic, or immersion of a roleplaying game.

[^15]: This also applies to Roblox's "Community Standards" and "Terms of Use" documents.
